Brevard County Attorneys Seek Justice in Civil Litigation and Criminal Law, Final Resolution in Family Law
Merritt Island law firm backs counsel with more than 25 years' trial experience
The Law Office of Caruso, Swerbilow & Camerota, P.A. has been providing general law services, counsel and representation to residents of Brevard County for more than 25 years.
We are aggressive litigators with a heart. While our tenacity has earned us the moniker of “junk yard dogs” in the courtroom, Brevard County Legal Aid in 2013 awarded us its Law Firm Award for pro bono services we have provided over the past 20 years. We have a strong sense of responsibility to give back to the community and our clients.
Dedicated to the needs of our clients
Indeed, our business is all about helping people. We do not run an office limited to the hours of 9:00 to 5:00. We make ourselves accessible to our clients. We arrange our schedules to accommodate you. We are ready to work for you on the weekends and around the clock if needed.
We are creative and conscientious, taking pride in the solutions we provide. Our work has been recognized not just by clients, but by our peers as well. Principals Joe Teague Caruso and Howard M. Swerbilow have both earned BV® Distinguished™ Peer Review Ratings by Martindale-Hubbell® for their high ethical standards and professional ability.
Areas of practice
While we provide general legal services and counsel, much of our energy these days is directed towards:
Civil Litigation — We represent plaintiffs and defendants in business litigation, including breach of contracts and matters involving property damage, personal injury claims, insurance claims, construction, consumer products liability, product defects and torts.
Criminal Law — We defend Florida residents charged with felonies, including drug crimes and sexual offenses, and misdemeanors such as disorderly conduct, motor vehicle offenses, disorderly conduct, simple assault, shoplifting and trespassing. We also seek expungement of criminal records.
Family Law — We help families with divorce, alimony, child custody and visitation, child support and child support modification and enforcement, as well as pre- and post-nuptial agreements, adoption, juvenile delinquency and dependency proceedings, and mediation.
Serving the residents of Brevard County
